STONYROCK

NEW YORK, NY

The 7500 square foot office space for Stonyrock combines both traditional aspects of financial workplaces with more current trends. Consequently, while there are private offices for senior staff, there are lean open benches for the workstations. While there are fully outfitted and luxurious audio visual conference rooms, there are also open collaborative areas some of which can be neatly hidden away with moving wall panels in the event of a needed quick dress-up or heightened privacy concerns.

The fit and finish also reflect both standard moments of comfort and classic buildout with more adventurous unusual and distinctive materials, furnishings, or applications. For example, ceiling panels of “ordinary” acoustic ceiling tile are carefully framed, to do their traditional job of acoustic “softening” while also acting as pristine reflectors for suspended lighting, and pulling back from perimeters to “show off” the robust building construction.
